Proposal Assistance

How can I increase my odds of getting funded?

Understanding what a TRL level is, where to find opportunities, and what the funding agencies are looking for greatly increases odds  of being funded.

What is TRL?

Federal R&D funding programs support innovations at all levels of development. You will want to know your Technical Readiness Level (TRL) so you can make the right match to the right agency.  Contact us for a free TRL chart.

What is transition funding?

Some SBIR funded innovations need extra funding after TRL 6 in order to commercialize. This if known as transition funding - transitioning from R&D to commercialization.

What are the key elements of a  proposal?

The typical funding opportunity will require at a minimum:  The technical aspects of your innovation and what makes it novel, specifically what research is needed, a detailed Commercialization Plan, resumes or biosketches on team members, and  Letters of Commitments from partners or subcontractors.

What do the different agencies fund?

Federal agencies have different missions and support innovations that match their mission. The SBIR program is a great place to start learning about funding priorities. Click the links below to learn more.

How We Can Help

We provide individual assistance depending on what support you require. The first step is to learn about your business goals and the development needs of your innovation. If we are a good match for you, we will submit a proposal for your consideration. If we are unable to assist, we will make referrals to someone who can.

Contact Us to set up a no cost informal consultation.
